 Enter the V4 Company for which the hierarchy is to be converted

 **If you have manual backups configured for your CODA environment, you can enter N on this screen and run

the CODA backup process outside of this process prior to submitting the job.

 Press F9 to Submit the Job

 Review the reports generated.

An Implementer from CODA will work with the dealer to convert this data

5.10 Entry Code Cross-Reference Extraction

The Entry Code Conversion process creates a staging file FNPECV40 and populates it with the existing entry

code data. It maps the existing access side of the entry code and the existing document type selection of the

entry code into the DBSi 5.0 version of the file. The Entry Code Cross Reference Spreadsheet allows the dealer

to extract the information to build the distribution side of the entry code using the newly defined elements, external

references and quantity fields available for use in CODA V10 and higher.

This conversion can be executed at any time prior to cutover because as the upgraded entry code database file

will be stored and built into the conversion library prior to the upgrade. A modify program will backup the current

entry code files and replace them with the ones built during conversion. Entry code conversions will need to be

tested in FDC using various TRGL files.
