5 DBS 2.3.4 to DBSi 5.0 Finance Data Conversion

Process

Please Note: The Coda Conversion Install for DBS 2.3.4 Environments must be completed before proceeding

with the steps below. You may want to verify that FNPDOCS0 and FNPECV40 in library LPCNV510 have been

populated with data.

5.1 Conversion Menu Overview and Options

To access the Conversion Menu you will need to have the conversion library in your library list. You will need to

follow these steps each time you log onto the system in order to access the conversion menu.

1. Go to a command line

2. Type ADDLIBLE LPCNV510, press enter

3. Type FNCNVMENU, press enter

The following screen will display:

This screen will serve as the starting point for each step in the conversion process. From this screen you can

review the Conversion Log files and work with the jobs submitted as part of the menu functions.

The options are intended to be done in sequence. You cannot choose any option below option 2, Perform Initial

CODA V10 Backup, until the backup is done.
